Memory Foam Mattress

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

Tempurpedic Mattresses, generically known as Memory Foam Mattresses, are becoming more popular every day. However, with all the different choices and prices of foam on the market, the consumer should know about the major differences between these products before paying a major amount of money for a bed they will be sleeping on for many years. I have personally tried out a memory foam mattress and pillow set, and can honestly express my enthusiasm for this product. It adapts to the contours of the body much better than an innerspring mattress. However, I can’t personally recommend a specific brand because each person has different preferences due to weight and sleeping habits. The best thing to do is to visit your local bed store and try laying down on a few different models. (When the sales staff have to wake you up, you know you’ve found the right brand.)

Broadband Providers

The iPlayer will allow broadband users to download at speeds of up to 300Mb per hour. This has raised concern to broadband users as this could lead to increasing cost of broadband for UK consumers. It has also caused internet broadband providers such as Tiscali to stand up against BBC, stating the on demand services will undoubtedly congest the network. Upgrades to the internet could be needed to cope with these services with costs past on to the broadband customer. Ofcom, the service regulator, estimates it could cost 830 million over the next 5 years to upgrade the network to cope with rising demand and the broadband customer will ultimately end up paying the bill.
